1. Introduction
This policy explains how LOONY COLLIDER ("we", "us"), the operator of SnakeGOO, collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use the app. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
2. Data we collect
Account data: username, phone number, email, and password (stored only as a secure hash). Financial data: your wallet ledger, deposits, withdrawals, fees, and match settlements. Gameplay data: your runs, scores, and the recorded input logs of each run. Technical data: device identifier, IP address, and basic usage/log information. We do not store your mobile-money PIN.
3. How we use your data
To create and operate your account and matches; to process mobile-money payments; to compute scores fairly and prevent cheating, collusion, and fraud; to provide support; to keep required financial and audit records; and to comply with our licence and legal obligations.
4. Legal basis
We process your data to perform our contract with you (running the service), to comply with legal and regulatory obligations (including anti-money-laundering and gaming-board requirements), and for our legitimate interests in security, fraud prevention, and improving the service.
5. Who we share it with
Our mobile-money payment provider [Relworx / provider] to process transactions; regulators, auditors, and law-enforcement where legally required; and trusted service providers (e.g. hosting, email) under confidentiality obligations. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Payments & mobile money
Deposits and withdrawals are handled by our payment provider. We keep a record of each transaction (amount, fee, reference, status, and the number used). Your registered number is locked as the withdrawal destination to protect you against theft.
7. Data retention
We keep your account, transaction, and gameplay records for as long as your account is active and for the period required by financial and gaming-board regulations after closure. Run input-logs are retained for fairness and dispute resolution.
8. Security
Passwords are hashed with a strong algorithm; sessions use protected tokens; access to your data is restricted and audited; and money moves only through an immutable ledger inside protected transactions. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
9. Your rights
Subject to legal and regulatory limits, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and may object to certain processing. Some data must be retained for audit and compliance. Contact us via the help centre to make a request.
10. Sessions & cookies
We use secure, httpOnly session cookies to keep you signed in. These are essential to operate the service and are not used for third-party advertising.
11. Children
The service is strictly for adults (21+). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 21, and will delete such data if identified.
12. Changes & contact
We may update this policy; material changes will be notified in the app. For privacy questions or requests, contact us through the in-app help centre or [privacy email / Data Protection Officer].
